Mini-Forge Dev Log #001

AI Builds a Farming Simulator Map Ecosystem

A milestone from the wider TW Farms creation-tool journey: AI helped build Fox Farms 4X as a populated FS25 map project, under human oversight.

A wider TW Farms milestone

On the night of 30 September–1 October, TW Farms used ChatGPT and AURORA, its locally running AI powered by NVIDIA Nemotron 3.5 Lightning, in a hybrid workflow to build an FS25 map project from an authorised Fox Farms FS22 source. The original source map remained preserved.

The reported Fox Farms 4X project contains working splines, fields, farmland and buildings. This was not just generated artwork or an empty map template: AI took part in constructing a populated map ecosystem under human oversight.

The claim

TW Farms claims this as the world’s first AI-generated FS25 map, defining the milestone as an end-to-end AI-built, populated 4X map ecosystem under human oversight. The claim belongs to TW Farms and is not an independently certified record.

The development session was captured live.

Separate projects, shared direction

Fox Farms was not created by Mini-Forge. The milestone belongs to the wider TW Farms AI and map-development workflow, and it demonstrates that AI can participate in creating structured Farming Simulator project data.

Mini-Forge remains a local-only, supervised photo-to-3D workbench for one real farm object at a time. Its workflow still distinguishes visible evidence from inference, asks the user to review the ModelSpec and requires explicit approval before Blender builds geometry. A map-generation breakthrough does not remove those safeguards or turn an export into a verified in-game asset.

AI helped build the world itself. Mini-Forge is a separate tool, with its own human approval gates.
