The road to TW Farms
Nobody planned this bit.
JNJ / GravelBorn became part of the TW Farms story in a way nobody really planned. It started with Piper Town.
We came across the map, played it, reviewed it and, in true TW Farms fashion, gave it a proper going-over. We pointed out what worked, what didn’t, and where we thought it could be better.
For plenty of creators, that could have been the end of the story. For JNJ, it was the beginning.
Instead of disappearing after the criticism, he stuck around. Conversations turned into ideas, ideas turned into collaboration, and before long he had become part of the furniture at TW Farms.
Since then, he has brought far more than maps to the table. He is a Missouri farmer, trucker, mapper, mod creator and music creator, with those different parts of his life feeding into the work he makes and the projects he helps shape.
Over time, his involvement grew from creator and collaborator into something much bigger. Today, JNJ / GravelBorn is officially part of TW Farms and serves as our YouTube Director, helping guide the direction of the channel and the content that comes out of it.
All of that started because we criticised a map called Piper Town. He stayed anyway.
